The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) requires all students who wish to study MBBS and BDS dental programs to take this entrance exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) serves as the sole agency for organizing the NEET examination.

Students need to use a pen and paper during the offline NEET examination. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) occurs only once per year during the month of May. Students must answer 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Botany & Zoology sections among the 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQS) in the exam. The exam provides 4 points for each correct response and subtracts 1 point for each incorrect answer. The exam period spans three hours and twenty minutes.

Students need to pass their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as their main subjects to qualify for NEET admission. Students from the general category need to achieve at least 50% marks in PCB subjects, yet reserved category students can enrol with lower marks in PCB subjects. NEET 2025 will take place on May 4, 2025, during the time period from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM, according to the official announcement made by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

NEET Exam: What is it?

NEET is an all-India entrance test for undergraduate medical admissions in India, replacing numerous previous entrance exams, such as AIPMT. It is an examination that is important for MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH course admissions, as it verifies the students knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

It is planned that the National Testing Agency (NTA) should carry out the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 on May 4, 2025 (assumedly). NEET 2025, which is the most popular undergraduate medical entrance exam and its place of origin is India, is the basic entry point for the MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, etc., and other related health science courses of the medical institutions nationwide, one of which is India.

NEET UG Exam Eligibility Criteria

The NEET 2025 eligibility requirements are expected to be as they were in the past year and remain the same for the new one, following the major changes introduced in the recent cycle. NEET Exam Application Form

Registration for NEET UG 2025 will be conducted online on the exam designated websites, which are neet.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. To assist in the registration procedure, below are simple step-by-step instructions:

Step 1. Visit the NEET 2025 official website.

Step 2. From the section called Latest News, click on the 'NEET 2025 Registration' link.

Step 3. Observe the steps that are outlined, and mark the agreement box as a sign of your consent.

Step 4. Provide your basic details, consisting of the name, phone number, and password.

Step 5. Verify the details by entering the OTP sent to your registered phone number and email ID.

Step 6. Upon confirmation, your registration details, such as the application number and password, will be shared with you.

Step 7. You can use these credentials for the next step, i.e., to open and fill out your application form.

Step 8. Complete all necessary fields, such as personal, educational details, the choice of examination city, question paper language, and the upload of necessary documents (photograph, signature, thumb impression, category certificate, etc).

Step 9. Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI are the available options for paying the application fee.

NEET Exam Admit Card 2025

The NEET UG Exam for the academic session 2025-26 is planned to be held in May 2025 at the different centers of the country. The candidates would be required to give their offline exam, and it vital for them to be in possession of a blue or black pen to attempt the questions.

The NEET Admit Card 2025 informs you of the exam time, center, and candidate details that have to be correct. The 3-hour (180 minutes) test will start at 2:00 PM and end at 5:00 PM. NEET will be conducted in 13 languages in the examination, and the candidates will be getting the option to give the test in the language they are most comfortable in.

There are several individuals who have a lot of trouble trying to download the admit card because the process is not clear enough. Once the NEET Admission Card 2025 is out, the following are the steps to use to download it:

Step 1: The first step for applicants is to visit the official departmental site on their devices or personal computers.

Step 2: At the very beginning of the main page, the candidates must open the notification section and find the 'NEET Admit Card 2025 Download Link' to click on the same.

Step 3: When you click on the aforementioned link, you will be taken to a different page where entries in the given fields will be asked for.

Step 4: Type your registration number and date of birth in the fields and click the submit button to continue.

Step 5: Then you have to input the security code which is shown on the screen.

Step 6: The Admit Card will be seen on the screen; go through the details feeling good.

Step 7: Download it on your computer and in case take the print out of the admit card for using it later.

NEET Cut-off Marks 2025

The anticipated NEET 2025 cutoff scores for the general category will fall within the range of 720 to 162 according to the 50th percentile. The expected cutoff for OBC, SC and ST candidates is 161-127 points, representing the 40th percentile. NTA will publish the official cutoff figures after completion of the examination.

NEET Counselling 2025
